Green for Greens Campaign

We're making great progress! We have raised $425,000 towards the mortgage on Executive South Golf and Recreation Center, But we still need to raise $175,000 to make it ours free and clear. Please give generously to support this public facility, accessible to all.

Putting Contest to Benefit the Foundation
On Thursday, September 11, a Putting Contest will be held at the Henrietta Chamber of Commerce's 22nd Scholarship Golf Tournament at Wildwood Country Club, 1201 West Rush Road in Rush, NY. All proceeds from the Putting Contest will go toward the Green for Greens Campaign.

Bill Dykstra and the gang are looking for 3 to 4 volunteers to work at the Contest to register people, take their donation, record distances, and offer a helping hand. You could work a short 2-hour shift, or a longer shift. Hours are from 10 am to 3:30 pm. Please contact Bill at 359-7071 or golf@henriettafoundation.org if you can help.

$50,000 Donation Leads the Way!

At right, Congressman Joseph Errigo and Senator James Alesi present a check for $50,000 from the state to HFI President Bud Snyder to benefit the Green For Greens Campaign.

The New York State Environmental Protection Fund has given a $300,000 matching grant towards supporting this valuable community greenspace.
